Day 07: Your favorite song of Boys for Pele
THIS IS SO DIFFICULT. All of them! But if you held a gun to my head and forced me to choose, I would say…Little Amsterdam, because I think it encapsulates the whole ‘feel’ of Pele for me. Sinister undercurrents, evocative of Southern bayous and swamps, simultaneously mesmerising but difficult to listen to, perfect instrumentation, moments of pure visceral heartbreaking raw emotion.
